Bakmi Tan (Tan's Noodle)

Back to Jakarta again, now we have this all-time favorite dish, chicken noodle.. We had lunch in Bakmi Tan (Tan's Noodle).. I've known this Bakmi Tan since I was child when they still only had one stall in Mangga Besar..


This time we visited their new branch in Kelapa Gading Square near to Mall of Indonesia..

They served this fried pork fat bits for free in each table.. Some people love to add it into the noodle..


E ordered this Dumpling Noodle Set (30K), homemade noodle topped with chicken chunks and crispy bits.. The specialty of its is the noodle came up with some crispy bits.. I love the crispy bits, has a fish flavor but its not fishy.. Tasty and savoury..


The texture was quite springy without being hard yet not too soft, just perfect..


It's a Pork Dumpling and just tasted ok, nothing to shout about.. You should try their homemade fishball, its really nice, fresh and not fishy.. For me their fishball has different texture from ordinary fishball.. Sorry no picture of it, coz we didn't order it that time..
