Portico

Here's another new hip restaurant and lounge called Portico, which located in the main lobby of Senayan City.. Portico in Italian means terrace, they offer a distinctive and unique terrace ambiance dining concept..

The first time I stepped foot in.. The place looks so nice!

You can choose to dine and relaxing in the outdoor terrace seating area covered with synthetic green grass or in the inside dining area surrounded by glass wall, its like within the glass house..



Looks their outdoor area, its like u having a dinner in the backyard and accompanied with city view, such a lovely and rare ambiance you can find in Jakarta..

Anyway, back to what we ate..

The menu is quite variative, from Asian to International foods is on the menu.. But that nite we craved for something Italian..

We both ordered Hot Cammomile Tea (22K)..


I opted something spicy, Penne Pasta with Spicy Chicken (55K), penne with chicken chunks in spicy tomato sauce.. It was just nice..


While E ordered Angel Hair with Tiger Prawn (65K), angel hair pasta sauteed in olive oil topped with bacon and prawn.. The pasta was nice, but we doubt was that really a tiger prawn? the prawn was so small and they only gave it one piece..

All in all, the food here is just an average, nothing to shout about but maybe you can try their special menu Lasagna Beef Rendang, unique rite? And surely the ambiance here is one of the pulling factor.. I think it's worth to give it a try and enjoy their unique dining ambiance..
