Thai Express

If you looking for affordable and enjoyable Thai Food in Jakarta, this could be one of your choices... This time we headed to Senayan City and had a dinner at Thai Express, a Singapore based chain of Thai Restaurant..


The interior design is simple and casual yet somewhat-elegant dining. Their smoking area is located behind the drapes..

Here are some of what we had..


We run out of the their best Thai Iced Tea.. So the waiter suggested their another best drink, Sour Plum Drink (18.5K). It's sour sweet, so refreshing with sour dried plum on it..


To started with, we took the waitress' recommendation Dark Soya Tofu (25.5K), deep fried tofu sauteed with dark soy sauce.. It was nice but just a normal dish.. Tofu lover should love it (^_^)..


Next is the classic and one of the best-known Thai dish, Pad Thai Beef (39.5K), a Thai style stir-fried beef rice noodle, the noodle were dressed in a sweet and tangy sauce with scrambled eggs on it..


Green Chicken Curry (29.5K), Thai style green curry with tofu, potato, and chicken served with steam rice.. It's fairly good, smooth, and rich in flavors but not overwhelming..

Overall, the food is good, and the price is also reasonable.. Our dining experience was pretty OK..
