Wisma Gading Permai (WGP) Apartment which located @ Kelapa Gading Boulevard Raya Utara will be a right place to visit when u looking for dinner or snacks at night. There are many stalls served different kinds of food, ranging from Indonesian food, seafood, Chinese food, noodle, even Japanese food u can also find here.

That nite we just visit our fave Kuo Tie Stall, Shantung 77. Pork Kuo Tie, is very good the skin was not too thick and the filling was juicy.


And the side dishes, Marinated soy Sauce Tofu, Egg, and Pork Tongue. I really don’t like this pork tongue, but E said its was very tasty…


I forgot the exact price for all of these, but I’m sure the price is affordable.

Helen's Fine Food & Patisserie

Helen's Fine Food and Patisserie is an international bistro with semi fine dining concept. Located in the strategic area in South Jakarta, Helen's Fine Foods and Patisserie has a new 2-storey building, the first floor for Cakes and Patisserie and second floor for fine dining.

Helen's has a great ambiance. Cozy..warm..romantic with live music every Saturday nite.


For the drinks, we ordered Ice Lemon Tea (12K) and Hot Jasmine Tea (15K)


These are their compliments. Warm Dinner Roll with Butter and Fried Spinach Pastry. These were so delicious.

Fettuccini Carbonara

Fettuccini Carbonara (55K), served with sliced smooked beef and mushroom. So tasty and creamy...

Tuna Club Sandwich

Tuna Club Sandwich (60.5K), it was quite expensive for the sandwich. But I feel satisfied for this, since the tuna was abundant, fresh & tasty and their bread was home made.

Creme Caramel

Finally the dessert was Creme Caramel (35K), good texture and its sooo smooth. yummyyy...

Helen's Fine Foods and Patisserie also provides services of making the cake with a tailor made service to bring personalized cakes. In general, orders for cakes presented at a special, for example, on weddings, birthday parties and other special events.

Helen's Fine Food and Patisserie has a great place with good foods. But in my opinion, their price was expensive, but the taste and their food quality made up for the price.

Birdcage

Birdcage which located @ Wijaya 9 is a very pleasant place to be and holds a variety of European comfort food such as seafood pastas, pizzas and grill steaks, accompanied by a wide range of wine selection.


Before the stair to the main restaurant, we can find a fancy boutique with a row of clothing imports in line behind the thick glass. Unlike the usual restaurant & lounge concept, Birdcage try to give forest ambiance represented by the implementation of furniture made of wood.


For the drinks we just ordered Chamomile Tea (20K).

That nite we ordered Chicken Pesto Pasta (57K) and The Beefcake Pizza (61K) to share.

The chicken is tender and the pasta is just ok.

For the pizza, it’s a thin crust pizza type, which I don’t really like coz its getting hard when u not eat soon. For me, the pizza is not cheesy enough.

The Birdcage turns out to be a very cozy place to hang out, but for my opinion the place is not roomy enough, quite packed. The food is ok, but their price is slightly pricey. I think we pay more for their ambiance.
