Marche Restaurant

Marche Movenpick Restaurant... After closing their outlet in Kuningan next to Grand Melia Hotel, and being breifly absent from Jakarta, Now Marche just opened again in Jakarta @ Plaza Senayan... I'm sure some food goers already familiar with Marche..

When you entering the restaurant, you will be given a card that records the purchase for each food ordered.. Once the food is ordered, that particular food station's chef will stamp on your card, so you'll have the card for billing upon your exit.. However, please keep your card carefully, coz people who lost the card would incur 1 Million Rupiah (1000K).


Once your foot step into this restaurant, you will feel like in a market atmosphere. They have an interesting concept of a bunch of nice looking food stations serving different kinds of food..Marche offers typical Swiss meals, like pasta, rosti, sandwiches, vegetables, rotisserie, and desserts..The display of food and its raw material is very clean, neat, and freshly prepared..

That nite I ordered Marche Savoury Crepe (72K) and add an extra Mushroom Topping (10K). Its a bit pricey yaa just for a crepe, but its tasted really good, the crepe is thin with generous fillings; Smoked Beef, Mushroom, Cheese..Hmmm Yummyy...


E opted Grilled Chicken Breast (32K) with Mashed Potato (10K), the chicken is tender..


Next, Plain Beef Sausage (46K), a full flavored sausage, full of spices..so tasty..

Marche provides a different dining experience..Experience a relaxed and comfortable Swiss atmosphere.. But, this new Marche is smaller and more expensive than the old one in Kuningan...

PaneCook - revisit

I still curious with other pannekoek variations @ PaneCook since they have many variations that I haven't tried yet on my previous visit.. So I headed to PaneCook again on last Sunday with my fam and E.. The good thing from having dinner together with many people is that we can order many dishes to share.. hehe


So what we ordered...


My cousin ordered Avocado Adventure (23K), pannekoek with chocolate custard filling served with coffee sauce and avocado ice cream..


Banana Cheese (35K) for my auntie, pannekoek with sliced banana, cheese, and chocolate sauce..


I ordered Truly Blueberry (27K), pannekoek with blueberry sauce and blueberry ice cream.. Not really satisfied, the pannekoek is too small..


Lasagna Beef (28K), the layer was thin and the sauce not tasty enough.. Not good enough..

And these are some of their tasty dishes, and we order two portions of each dish to share.. haha rakus yaa...


Pizza Pannekoek (38K), pannekoek with bolognese sauce, sausages, and mozarella cheese toppings.. The favorite one..


Smoked Beef Ham & Cheese (30K), pannekoek served with sauteed smoked beef, onion, and mushroom, topped with cheese and mayonaise..


Crusted Dory Cheese Fettucine (39K), fettucine topped with deep fried dory fish, mushroom, and cream sauce..

Overall.. we did enjoy our meals..

Crab House

Crab House, a new Chinese restaurant just opened recently @ Plaza Senayan.. At the first time, I thought they only specialized on crab or seafood dishes.. However, they offer a wide variety of Chinese food choices ranging from dim sum to porridge, noodle and other main dishes..


The interior is really red ^o^, I’ll have to say their setup is pretty neat and pack..

For the starter, we ordered Steamed Szechuan dumplings (14.8K), steamed dumplings with chili sauce, the chili is tasty and its nice..


Chicken & Mushroom Porridge (28K), they used sauteed chicken instead of plain steamed chicken.. The texture is a bit watery for us, but tasted ok..


Always had Fried Cruller (5.8K) to go with porridge..


Next, Seafood Tofu Hotplate (58K), came with an egg base..love it...

There still number of dishes which tempted us, so we'll back...

Immigrant.. A new restaurant, bar, and lounge just opened @ Plaza Indonesia.. New place to hang out..


That nite I went with E and my friend C.. We got the table on open air terrace..


Great view of Thamrin St. from our table...

We didn't plan to have dinner so we just ordered mocktails..


Apple Mojito, tasted bland and a bit bitter with a scent of mint leaves...ugh didn't really like this one...


Passion Breeze, tasted more orange... The best among the others..


Virgin Suicide, tasted like watermelon and strawberry juice...

All these mocktails cost 53K, is a bit pricey, isn't it?.. After browsed their food menu, I thought their foods are vary, and the food price is more fairly than the drink.. So we'll back someday to try their foods..

Sour Sally - revisit

It's time for Sour Sally.. My fave yogurt ice cream.. (^_^)v ...Sour Sally just opened their new branch @ Plaza Indonesia lower ground..


We bought this big size.. Double Plain Yogurt with 4 Toppings (54.5K)... We opted Green Mochi, Red Mochi, Peach, and Strawberry... With this big plate, they really generous with the toppings... PUAS haha...

Warung Leko

Iga Penyet.. If I freely translated this dish into English, then it would be Smashed Ribs hehe.. I'm so curious when my brother tell me bout tasty Iga Penyet located in Pantai Indah Kapuk..

Actually there are two stalls famous for their Iga Penyet @ PIK; Warung Teko and Warung Leko.. These two stalls are always packed, especially on the weekend and during dinner time.. My brother has tried both stall, he said there is no significant different in their taste.. But in his opinion, Warung Leko is better for their Iga Penyet, and Warung Teko is better for other dishes..

So that nite we tried Warung Leko which originally from Surabaya..

Iga Penyet (25K) is grilled ribs with sambal/chili.. what makes this so special is the sambal/chili.. you can choose the sambal to be hot or super hot, it was tangy, really spicy, with a touch of sweetness.. Its is really good to eat with warm Steamed Rice (3.5K)



Gurame Penyet (36K) is gurami fish had been deep-fried to a golden yellow and was very crispy on the outside, its served with sambal.. its will be the same sambal as Iga Penyet..


Cah Kangkung - Stir Fried Water Spinach (8K).. Its really nice..

Potato Head

Here's another new hip restaurant and bar located in Pacific Place near the lobby area called Potato Head..

Great place.. Cool ambiance.. I love the design of this place..

Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich (70K), a sandwich made from sauteed thinly sliced beef, onion, and mushroom topped with melted cheese on a long roll served with veggies and french fries.. Its really big size, the filling is tasty, but the bread is getting hard when is not warm enough.. So eat as soon as its still warm hehe...


Pasta Aglio Tuna Spaghetti (65K), its good, the tuna was fresh and not too oily..

It is really a nice place to hang out with a great atmosphere..

Here's another pictures from my Bandung Trip last year.. Before we went back to Jakarta, we had a dinner @ Atmosphere Resort Cafe..


Atmosphere Resort Cafe is a comfortable cafe with a cozy ambiance in the heart of Bandung city, they offer wide range of cuisine like; International, Indonesian, and Asian cuisine..

They have indoor and outdoor dining area



First floor of main building gives a romantic ambiance with live music performance..


We sat outside on one of the gazeboes like Balinese style, which gives a romantic and relax nuance..

For the foods;


I ordered this Mixed Omelette, filled with mushroom and smoked beef served with french fries..
Tasted ok..


And this E's Club Sandwiches served with potato chips.. Taste not bad...

The foods here is so so.. I forgot the exact price, but its still affordable.. The ambiance is great.. Worth to visit...
